Our TY & LCA students were delighted to welcome the Community First Responders to the school today to learn how to deliver CPR and use a defibrillator. Students were able to practice valuable life saving skills using mannequins and successfully completed the CPR AED Course. The main focus of the course was on learning exactly what to do if someone suffers a heart attack but also looked at how to react to someone choking. We at Boyne Community School would like to sincerely thank Gordon, Mark, Jane and Philip from the Community First Responders Group Trim for giving up their time to deliver this module.
