TY Green Schools SEAI Workshop
Many thanks to Aidan Gray, who facilitated a Green Schools SEAI workshop for our TY students. The workshop was very interactive and covered the principles of energy, current global problems, and the science of climate change. Students evaluated how our everyday activities and actions, such as burning fossil fuels for heat and electricity in our homes, can impact the global environment. They discussed the concept of sustainable development, and students were encouraged to think about global issues and their solutions.
