The TY soccer team put up a valiant effort in a close match against De La Salle College, Dundalk, narrowly losing 2-1. James O’Neill opened the scoring with a stunning solo goal, making a powerful run down the wing before cutting inside and delivering an impressive finish. Despite controlling much of the game, Boyne Community School conceded two goals against the run of play in the second half, leading to a hard-fought but disappointing result.
