The Green Schools Committee are launching their very first ‘Upcycled Christmas Decoration Competition’ and ‘Upcycled Christmas Jumper Competition’. Students are encouraged to get creative with household waste such as plastic bottles, cans, cardboard etc and make a beautiful decoration to be displayed on the school Christmas tree. We are also running a competition for any aspiring fashion designers in which they are required to upcycle an old item of clothing into a Christmas Jumper to be worn on Christmas Jumper Day during the week of the 19th. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and details on how to enter are on Google Classroom (the code can be found on posters around the school). The deadline is Friday 16th of December.
