Yesterday, on a glorious sunny day, Transition Year and LCA students from Bective and Tara schools joined forces with Green Schools at the National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Laois. The event offered students a unique opportunity to learn about sustainable farming and environmental practices through workshops and demonstrations. The sunny outing was both educational and fun, leaving students inspired by Ireland’s rich agricultural heritage. A huge thanks to Mr. Cooney for organising the day.
