The Meath Mini 7s football tournament took place on Monday, April 15th, in Dunganny. Boyne Community School entered two teams, and both teams won Division 1 and Division 2, which is a great achievement for the school! Huge congratulations to the team and teachers, Mr. Brien, Mr. Duffy, and Mr. Cullen.

In the Division 1 final, Boyne, led by the stellar performance of Conal O’Relly from Summerhill and Scott Williams from Moynalvey, triumphed over St.Olivers of Oldcastle, following a hard-fought victory against St.Pats of Navan in the semi-final. In the Division 2 final, Boyne, with Darragh Healy from Dunderry and Liam Fagan from Summerhill in top form, overcame St.Ciarans of Kells. Both teams, with their unbeaten run throughout the day, showcased the talent and dedication of the Boyne Community School. Special thanks to the Ty Mentors on the day: Ciaran Sheridan, Cathal Barron, Conal Diggins, Robert Johnson, Luca Taheny, and James Murray. Both teams were rewarded with tops for winning their respective Divisions, courtesy of Meath Gaa.
