What is the LCVP?
This is an optional add-on programme for students taking the traditional Leaving Certificate.
An enhanced Leaving Certificate
Two Broad Areas of Study called Link Modules are taken:
- Preparation for the World of Work
- Enterprise Education
Students can use the LCVP as one of their 6 subjects when calculating points for college.
The Universities and Institutes of Technology are awarding the following points:
- Distinction 66 points
- Merit points 46 points
- Pass points 28 points
