Last week, John O’Shea kindly took time out of his busy schedule to come and visit our TY group. He talked to them about his work as the founder of the Irish charity GOAL and his experiences of helping the poor during horrendous famines and genocides in developing countries. He also reminded the TY’s of their ability to instigate change and to become a leader just like Greta Thunberg and deceased Kerry teenager Donal Walsh.
The TY’s thoroughly enjoyed the talk and now look forward to running the school’s upcoming Jersey Day on October 13th. All funds raised will go towards GOAL’s dedicated work in over thirteen developing countries worldwide.
