Congratulations to our dedicated Green Schools volunteers for successfully planting 325 native trees today! We received the tree saplings from Trim Tidy Towns, and we extend our gratitude to Tomas and Monika Novak for their generous assistance. The planted trees encompass 13 species: Birch, Hazel, Hawthorn, Spindle, Scot’s Pine, Wild Cherry, Blackthorn, Oak, Dog Rose, Elder, Rowan, and Guelder Rose. As these trees flourish, they will positively impact biodiversity in Boyne Community School. Well done to everyone involved!
