On Tuesday, Mark Nolan from ‘Biodiversity in Schools’ visited our Green School Committee to deliver a workshop on the different types of biodiversity in Ireland, the challenges facing biodiversity and what we can do to improve biodiversity in our school environment.  Mark also helped the committee to identify the natural bee banks, birds, trees and wildflowers that live and grow in our school grounds.  The committee members learned a lot and are now more informed and excited to move on to our next project:  a wildflower meadow!
