Our Third Year students sampled an E-Scooter Workshop. This course gives our students an insight into the opportunities available in our Transition Year Programme in Boyne Community School. The two-hour course encourages young people to adopt a safety-led approach to driving. The pioneering ‘E-scooter Safety Module’ provided pupils with an overview of the law governing e-scooters, a guide on ensuring pedestrian safety while using e-scooters, tuition on starting and moving off safely, and a tutorial on how to park safely.
