Dear employers, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking
the time to accommodate our students on their work experience placements,
it is very much appreciated.
On a related topic, our careers department is organising a ‘career speed
dating’ style event on the 7th of December for our 6th-year students. This will involve people of different careers sitting in the gym at tables and, just like speed dating, they would be chatting to different students (3 or 4) every 3 minutes about the pros and cons of their chosen career. At the moment we are looking for people (parents and employers) to get in touch with us initially and let us know if you would be interested in participating in this event.
