The National Parents Council is asking for your feedback on the development of Whole-School Guidance (WSG) in post-primary schools. This programme aims to help student gets the support they need in their studies, personal life, social skills, and career choices.
This support includes counselling, career advice, and teaching important life skills to help students make smart decisions about their future. Guidance services in schools may include one-on-one counselling, group sessions, and career planning activities.
As parents, your opinions and experiences are very important to help improve these services. By completing the survey, you can share your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions about how guidance is being offered in schools. Your feedback will help make sure that all students have access to the support they need to succeed.
You may have already received a link to the Department of Education survey on this, but NPC will make a submission on your behalf where all your views will be shared.
