Today, Transition Year students at Boyne Community School participated in an interactive workshop The Other Side of Life, facilitated by Conor Harris.

The workshop provided an engaging and thought-provoking insight into the realities of alcohol and recreational drug use. Conor shared his personal journey as a recovering addict, offering a raw and honest perspective on the challenges of addiction and the importance of making informed choices.

Students explored the significance of maintaining strong, positive inner circles, building healthy friendships, and understanding how external influences can shape decisions. The session encouraged open discussion and reflection, helping students to consider the impact of their choices on their future lives.

This impactful workshop is part of our ongoing commitment to educating students about well-being and resilience, equipping them with the tools to make positive life decisions.
