Thrilling Triumphs and Team Spirit: Highlights from School’s Sports Day”

Today marked the exhilarating culmination of Active Schools Week at our school, as students from first to transition years showcased their athleticism and camaraderie on the field.

In the first-year category, Micheál sprinted to victory in the 100-meter dash, closely followed by Scott and Darragh. Scott demonstrated his prowess by dominating the 400-meter lap, with Oran and Darragh securing commendable placements.

The morning buzzed with excitement as every tutor group engaged in spirited competition, participating in the 400-meter relay, navigating challenging obstacle courses, and culminating in an intense tug-of-war.

In the afternoon, they offered diverse activities, including dodgeball, basketball, and a soccer blitz, where students showcased their skills and sportsmanship.

Notably, tutor group Patten, bolstered by members of the Trim Town Academy, Trim Celtic & Parkceltic FC, emerged triumphant in our first-year soccer blitz competition.

We thank Ms Liddy, Mr Cullen, Mr Quinn and our PE Department for organising an outstanding Active Schools Week. Special thanks also go to our dedicated teachers and SNA staff members whose support and efforts made the week a resounding success. Congratulations to all participants for contributing to a thoroughly enjoyable week of sport and camaraderie!
