Exciting news, everyone! Our awesome student council members, who were recently elected, are gathering every week to cook up some fantastic plans and initiatives for Boyne CS! 🎉 So far, they’ve been rocking it by brainstorming inclusion ideas in October and ideas for our stand-up awareness week in November.
But hold onto your hats because there’s so much more in store for 2023/24.
1. Water in school initiative.
2. Revamped Student Council notice board.
3. Revamped Student Council website section and Facebook presence.
4. Taking an active part in a whole school newcomer inclusion subject classroom initiative.
5. Exploring ideas around a Student Council visual art exhibition or performance set.
Get ready for a mega dose of good vibes as our student council is gearing up for a Christmas Jumper charity collection right before Christmas; (in agreement with school management). And guess what? It’s all for a fantastic cause – supporting our local charities in Trim and the surrounding areas. 🌟
But that’s not all; brace yourselves for some incredible Transition and Transfer talks. Our 6th class superstars from local primary schools are about to embark on their post-primary education journey with us in September 2024 and will be sitting their entrance exams in the next couple of months.
The student council is on a mission to make this transition as smooth and exciting as possible for our new buddies with primary school visits being planned for early in 2024! 🚀
