The u17 girls soccer squad have qualified the Cup Quarter Final after a convincing 2-0 over Rockford Manor (Blackrock)
Laura Szymkow and Faye Govern were resolute in defence for the entire 70 minutes and restricted some very talented Rockford Manor forward players to half chances throughout.
Lauren Cosgrave opened the scoring just before half time with a calm finish into the bottom right corner.
Nova Sherwin and Elizabeth Heffernan were threatening on both wings, with Nova scoring for the second game running after an excellent through ball from Sadhbh Barronat the start of the second half.
Again, we had some girls making their school debut and everyone who took part contributed to a great win.
