We understand that navigating the journey of raising a child with Autism can be both challenging and rewarding. This informal gathering aims to create a warm and welcoming environment where Parents/Guardians can come together to share their stories, challenges and successes while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
We will be joined by Trish Flood, Parent Information Officer from Autism Support Louth & Meath who can advise regarding: benefits, entitlements, school application processes, respite and other topics of interest. We have also invited members of the Trim Autism Friendly Town Committee as well as Brenda Bradley, Youth and Community Engagement Worker from Jigsaw, who can discuss mental health supports.
We believe that coming together as a community can be incredibly empowering, and this event is designed to foster a sense of unity among families. Whether you are a veteran in navigating the world of Autism or just starting this journey, your presence will be valuable and contribute to a supportive and compassionate community of families who are committed to providing the best possible care and opportunities for our neurodivergent children.
Please note- this event is also open to families who do not have a child currently enrolled in Boyne Community School.
We hope you to see you there,
Best wishes,
