‘Friends of Ukraine Ashbourne’ in conjunction with Helping Irish Hosts are running an event on
Thursday 29th September in the Pillo Hotel, Ashbourne. This is an
information evening for those who have pledged to host families and
those who are considering it but are unsure how to proceed. Current
hosts are also invited to this event.
The event will be hosted by Matt Cooper from Today FM and there will
be an expert panel from the Irish Red Cross, Irish Refugee Council
etc, to answer any questions from the audience. Speakers will also
include a host and a Ukrainian person being hosted. Refreshments will
also be provided on the night.
