Agricultural Science

Agricultural Science is assessed as two levels: Ordinary Level & Higher Level. The final assessment includes a written exam and an assessment of work undertaken during the course (this happens around May of 6th year).

The practical assessment is worth 25% and includes a project on livestock, crops & a sketch of farm.

The written exam, worth 75%, includes the following topics:

  1. Plant Physiology
  2. Animal Physiology
  3. Genetics
  4. Crops
  5. Livestock

Careers in Agricultural Science

There are many career paths for graduates with backgrounds in Ag. Science, for instance:

  • Food Scientist
